QUADRON! S.F. DEBUT OF DENMARK'S SOUL DUO

QUADRON - Live
+ Special guest
SAKE 1 (PST/LOCAL 1200)

THE S.F. debut of Denmark soul duo!

Discount Pre-Sale tickets available at:
aahttp://quadronsom.eventbrite.com/

Some words about Quadron:

Quadron is a duo whose genesis originates from the reveries of two souls destined to live their existence as a fairytale. Our story begins in Copenhagen, Denmark, where Robin Hannibal encountered Coco O. . Robin was already a name within Owusu & Hannibal, and Boom Clap Bachelors. He was ready to continue his collaborations and seek out new adventures.

In the ingénue of Coco, Robin saw his muse, singing without effort, speaking in melody. Taking their time to get it right, they started playing together. A year would pass while they gently created the Quadron sound. The music was funky, naughty, soft and delicate, but complicated and natural. Robin creates melodies with lush orchestration and deep beats, intellectual and crisp. Coco layers them with her voluptuous timbre. Together completing a chapter of their fairytale soundtrack until a Quadron song is born. Only a few months has passed since Quadron’s album was first exposed to the public, but artistry of this caliber has a force all its own. When it’s good, it’s good and Quadron is that.

Holding down the decks before and after Quadron is S.F. mainstay SAKE ONE (PST/LOCAL 1200), spinning soul, hip-hop, and more.

Because of popular demand BCBLP001 is getting a proper release on Itunes! Our unofficial first album! Pre Music For Dreams-era

The album tracks was produced in the timeframe 2003-2005 and released in early 2005. This release was Vinyl only (500 copies!) This album layed the foundations for future collaboration and the collective named: BOOM CLAP BACHELORS was officiallyborn! . The album was actually released WAAAAY before the term Wonky was ever conceived.  Maybe WIKI should correct it to Denmark, US and Scotland :-) This album is definitely proof!....we just mooved on...

Wonky is a term used to describe a tendency to use mid-range unstable synths that appeared before summer 2008, among a range of musical genres, including hip hop, hyphy, grime, chiptune, dubstep, crunk, and electro.[1] It has also been suggested that wonky is a genre of music itself.
